Royal Bhutan Monastery is a spectacular Buddhist monastery and temple in Bodhgaya, Bihar, approximately 500 meters from the Giant Buddha Statue and 1 kilometer from the Bodhgaya Bus Station. It is one of the most serene spots to visit in Bodh Gaya, located next to Wat Thai Buddhagaya.

The Royal Bhutan Monastery, built by the King of Bhutan as a memorial to Lord Buddha, is one of the most impressive Buddhist monasteries in the pilgrimage destination of Bodh Gaya. The monastery, which features major events from Gauthama Buddha's life in the form of clay sculptures, attracts millions of Buddhists from all over the world. It offers a serene environment in which to learn and practice Buddhism.

The monastery houses a magnificent temple and a rest house for Bhutanese monks, and it is built in the style of Bhutanese architecture. The monastery's temple houses a 7-foot-high picture of the Lord Buddha that is engraved with Buddhist symbols and teachings. In addition, the monastery performs a variety of functions, including giving talks about Buddha and His teachings, guiding individual and group meditation, organizing peace prayers, and offering prayers at the temple.

A guesthouse with 15 pleasant rooms is also available at the monastery. Visitors are not required to pay anything for their stay, however they should consider giving to the monastery' upkeep and expenses.
