Located in Garjiya village in Uttarakhand, Garjiya Devi Temple is an ancient Devi temple. Also known as Girija Devi Temple, this temple is named after diety Mata Garjiya Devi, who is believed to be the incarnation of Goddess Parwati. Inside the temple, idol of Goddess Garjiya is placed along with idols of Saraswati, Ganesh and Bharion Nath.  Additionally, there is a statue of Lakshmi Narayan as well which is made from black granite.

Garjiya Devi Temple is one of the most famous temples in Nainital district, and is situated over large rock in Kosi River. It is visited by thousands of devotees, especially during Kartik Poornima. On this festival of lights, temple is fully decorated with diyas lit by worshippers and devotees. These lights give panoramic view over the Kosi River which is definitely a sight to behold.

The other tourist attractions near Garjiya Devi Temple are Jim Corbett National Park, Sitabani Forest Reserve, Corbett Water Fall, Sunrise Point, Dhangari Museum, Dhikala Forest Lodge, Kalagarh Dam, et al. Visitors can choose journey through dense forest, climbing rocks, listening to wild animals and birds chirping while experiencing natural forest. It is located 75 KM from Nainital and 13 KM from Ramnagar. One can reach at this spot by taxi or bus from Ramnagar.
