The viewpoint of Seethargundu is in the western ghats of Nelliyampathy. It is about 8 km from Nelliyampathy. Seethargundu has associated with Ramayana. There is a saying that Lord Ram, Lakshmanan and Mother Sita rested at this place during their fourteen year vanavasam period.
 
Seethargundu waterfall runs approximately 100 ft, which offers a beautiful experience. This position provides a large view of stone queries and paddy fields spread around a green cover. Seethargundu estate is one of the best organic tea and coffee cultivation farms.
